The students wore red throughout the day and participated in a series of lessons designed to educate children around the three R's of child safety: recognise, react and report.
Class teacher Jen Hotham said the lessons were tailored specifically to both infants and primary student, and covered a wide range of topics.
"A key topic for students was how to keep safe online, which continues to grow in importance with more and more young people using the internet from an early age," Ms Hotham said.
"The lessons also instructed students on how to recognise body clues, to know how to react in a potentially unsafe situation and to identify five trustworthy helpers to seek assistance from."
The students also took part in a 'Walk for Daniel' exercise, which involved a supervised lap of the school grounds raising awareness for the cause.
Ms Hotham said the students responded to the lessons with plenty of enthusiasm.
"The Daniel Morcombe website encourages parents and teachers to educate children on staying safe, and I strongly encourage others to check out the website for themselves, as there's so many helpful child safety tips" she said.
