A four and a single over the final two balls of the match gave the Redbacks a stunning win over Centennials Bulls at the Sportsground.
It capped off a great fight back for City when their innings had looked shaky during the middle stages.
Runs were coming easily for Redbacks in the early overs before the rate dipped slightly following the third wicket.
It was the arrival of Oliver Simpson (25) at the crease that put the win within reach.

“Olly Simpson came in and I don’t think he faced a dot ball. He pretty much won us the game,” Redbacks captain Joey Coughlan said.
“Browny [Andrew Brown] had been setting good fields and his bowlers were bowling to those plans. We were just picking out fielders, probably hitting it too hard instead of turning the strike over.
“I haven’t experienced a finish like that before in my career so it was pretty cool to watch. It’s great to see your team get up in a game like that.”
Matt Willis (25) was equal top scorer for the Redbacks while five different bowlers picked up wickets. Dene Rice (2-18) led the way with the ball.
Redbacks have won two of their three Twenty20 games and have moved to the top of the ladder following Saturday’s victory.
